2016 Centre Stage

The 2016 netball season has seen some changes to netball in Temuka. We are now only catering for Year 1 to Year 4 players. Even so, we have made the best of this and managed to get four teams together to play in our Thursday afternoon competition.

The 5 aside ANZ futureFERNS game is into its third year at Temuka and the girls seem to be thriving. We also had an enthusiastic bunch of 5 & 6-year-olds that took part in the ANZ futureFERNS Year 1 and Year 2 programme during Term 2.

On May 29th we hosted a tournament of Year 3 and Year 4 teams from Temuka, Fairlie, Geraldine and Pleasant Point. This was a great day for all the children, and they even coped with having to play netball in the rain, which didn’t bother them a bit.

Our final day of competition is on Thursday 18 August.
