West Coast Netball Centre
Welcome to our 2016 season.
Our Executive team: Kaye, Lisa, Jocelyn, Marion, Jill, Jacinda, Lisa, Sue, Anne, Cindy, Caroline and Byron. The Executive committee meets fortnightly throughout the season to make sure that everything is running smoothly and everyone is happy! We held a working bee at the start of the season to get the pavilion and courts looking fresh and new!

Summer Netball
We had a good number of teams enter into our Summer netball 6 week challenge this year. It was good to keep up the fitness over the summer break. Thanks to everyone that entered!
Umpiring sessions
These were held over 6 nights at the pavilion and it was compulsory for all Premier and Senior players. Marion, Sue and Jocelyn led everyone through the rule changes.These were highly successful with almost all of these players attending.The few who never were excused to attend a further session.
Grades
This year we have 4 teams in an Intercentre competition with another 4 teams from Hokitika. We have 8 teams in the Premier B competition and 12 in a Senior A and B grade. There are 6 teams in each of our 1st and 2nd grade comps. There are 6 teams entered into the Kiwi netball grade this year.
ANZ future FERNS Netball
Last week we started our Future Ferns programme with over 30 Year 14 children registering to participate. Last year the skills that were developed were amazing. We look forward to seeing these guys come up through the grades over the next few years.
Kiwi Netball – Coaching Session
We ran a coaching session on Friday 6 May 2016. This was compulsory for Kiwi Netball Coaches. It was also open to interested 2nd Grade coaches.
Representative Netball
We sent out a call for interested coaches and managers for our Representative teams and have found 3 great coaches for our U13, U15 and U17 teams. Nomination forms are coming in for those girls interested in playing at the Rep level.
